Presentation of a fire prevention product to be put up for sale on the Turkey market has been made to Akhisar Municipality Fire Department and Forest Department on an outdoor land.
During the field exercise attended by Adnan Selvi, Head of the Akhisar municipality Fire Department; Salim Gümüş, Assistant Manager of the Forrest Department and Murat Kabasakal, owner of Akhisar Yapı Tasarım, it has been noticed that the fire that was started on a given space had naturally extinguished when arrived to the area where the product had been applied. Ali Rizelioğlu, spokesperson of the Turkey distributor denoted that they previously performed field trainings on forests in the black sea region and that they got good results.

’’ISFR-3 Shield, which is a fire retardant product, is a multipurpose, wide spectrum, colorless, odorless, quick release, A class fire extinguisher. It is not toxic or allergic and it provides highly effective fire retardant protection. It does not contain any noxious ingredient. Independent test results prove that ISFR-3 provides A class fire retardant protection and that it is used all over the USA by fire safety policy appliers.

It is easily applicable to textile, lumber, wood products, carpet, decorative products suitable to make curtain,  paper, display windows, stage curtains, beds, mattresses, and many other products and it is an ideal fire retardant product.

The fire spreads when the temperature of the heat source reaches the flare up level. At the beginning, the spreading is limited to materials that are in direct contact with the flame.  However, when the temperature reaches 400 degrees, all flammable materials and gases flare up as result of a phenomenon called flashover. Flashovers happen in less than 3 minutes. Our product ISFR-3 drastically decreases fire hazards by significantly scaling up the flaring up level of flammable materials. This product can not be applied to all kinds of materials.ISFR-3 can only be applied over absorbent materials or over materials that allow silica adhesion. In other words, ISFR-3 can only penetrate into materials it can reach. As an easy testing method, a drop of water is put on the material and if the water doesn’t get a bead like shape ISFR-3 can be applied over this material.

This product can be applied over plywood, scaffold floorboard, fiberboard, MDF plaques, OSB plaques, cork plaques, sponge plaques, panels, frames, mold, doors, carpets, curtains, natural and synthetic fabrics, paper and cartoons and many other materials. ISFR-3 is a cheap fire retardant method and it is possible to cover a space of about 12.5 square meter in textile depending on the fibers of the material and a space of about 7 square meter in lumber depending on the thickness of the lumber ‘’ said Ali Rizelioğlu, Ayyıldız  Chemicals’ spokesperson.
